Description: This uncirculated 50 Egyptian piaster note was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2017 and signed by Tarek Hassan Amer. It is a green, purple, yellow, and orange note that measures 135 mm long and 70 mm wide. Its obverse depicts the Al-Azhar mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side features a carving of Ramesses II in a battle, stylized papyrus flowers, a granite statue of Ramesses II holding a crook as shown in Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy, a prow of a reed boat, and the name of Ramesses II in a cartouche. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark that shows the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon and a serial number with a 328-prefix.
