Description: Eduard CARET French Barbizon-style painter Autumn Landscape oil painting Signed Born in Pont Avon, France in 1910. He was a precocious child, displaying great artistic capabilities which his father, who taught at the local academy, encouraged him to develop. He continued the development of the prodigious talents in the great forests at Fontainebleau. His style was strongly influenced by the 19th century, pre-impressionist Barbizon School. He went on to study further at Les Beaux Arts in Paris. He is well know in France and much of Europe.
