The glaze is almost salt glaze in nature and the body is similar to a light stoneware. c1780 . The form almost certainly suggests manufacture by Turner, Lane End.Dimensions: 16cms high x 13cms diameter at widest Weight: 455gms Condition: Some professional museum restoration to spout and neck (visible under UV light but is minimal and cosmetic). A superb early piece.
