The new product comes with a dropper included, which has a handy screw on lid making the product easier to store. The gentle formulation can be used to treat problem earwax, or to prepare ears before syringing. DIRECTIONS FOR USE -For adults, the elderly and children over 1 year: Using the dropper, place 5 drops of oil into the ear, then gently massage around the outside of the ear. Never insert the dropper or any solid object into the ear. Allow a few minutes for the drops to reach the eardrum by keeping the head tilted then use a tissue to wipe away any surplus product that runs from the ear. Repeat in the other ear if required. Use the drops twice a day for three days. -Children under 5 years: Should receive medical diagnosis and supervision (see leaflet). INGREDIENTS Propylene Glycol Dicaprylocaprate, Butoxyl, Turpentine Oil, Chlorocresol. Direction of Use: - Wash your hands. - Prepare a small pad of cotton wool, the size of your thumb nail. Lie or sit down, then tilt the head to bring the ear uppermost. Use the dropper to put five drops into the ear canal. Do not push the dropper into the ear. - Moisten the small pad of cotton wool with Cerumol or smear with petroleum jelly. - Place the cotton wall pad over the hole in the ear. Do not push the cotton wool too far into the ear canal. Remove the pad after one hour or the next morning. Repeat twice a day for three days. - Whilst the drops are in your ear, it is normal to feel a warm tingling sensation. Adding the drops to the wax may, for a short while, increase deafness. By the fourth day the loosened wax should have come out on its own. If not, and a plug of wax is still in the ear then see your doctor.
