Description: A commemorative piece produced by Bryce Brothers in anticipation of the great Centennial celebrations and Exhibition of 1886, this pattern showcases much that represents Early American Pattern Glass: popular designs such as daisy & button, often-patriotic or "pop-culture themes-in-the-news", and usefulness as a table serving piece. This rather large covered butter, cheese or honey dish will be a treasured member of antique tableware collections, butter dish displays, or even 19th century Victorian kitchen decor. The base is 7 1/2" in length and 5 1/2" in width. With the lid on, the piece is about 3 1/2" in height. There are no large chips or cracks. There are small typical point chips and a few flakes from bottom of lid as seen in the final images. As with EAPG, depression and vintage glass, there may be slight 'character' marks, bubbles, ripples and mold marks on bottoms or sides from the original mold and/or production process.Shipping: I strive to preserve historic pieces AND our natural world via careful packaging using recycled and repurposed materials.
