Description: Elegant Rummer Goblet Wine Etched Fern & Berry Faceted Stem c. 1860 Antique 19th Cent Up for bid is a very nice antique 19th-century etched drinking glass also known as a rummer; It dates to 1860 The pattern is known as “Mitchell”, made by many companies American and Canadian Goblets This is a hand-blown tapered bowl with oversize foot; And a 6 petal bowl and a tapered stem; The bowl has been wheel cut with a sprig of fern and berries The foot shows wavy rings evidence of stretch marks where the glass was pulled and a gadget tool mark Measures 5-3/8” tall x 2-3/4” dia across rim, 2-7/8” across foot; No chips or cracks
