Description: Offered for your consideration is a pair of glass individual berry bowls made by the National Glass Company's Beatty-Brady Works (1899-1904) in their pattern number 108. Also known as "Grenade", this pattern was introduced in 1900. The pattern continued being sold by the Indiana Glass Company after 1904. One fluted bowl measure approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm) in diameter and is 1.75 inches (4.4 cm) tall. The second bowl is approximately 5.5 inches (14 cm) in diameter and 1.75 inches (4.4 cm) tall. Size differences likely due to the fluted rims being worked slightly differently. These two individual berry bowls are in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. Small bowls are used so there may be minor wear, faint surface scratches, or additional indications of use. See photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness nor noticeable lime scale present. One bowl is slightly grayer than the other likely due to slight UV discoloration. There may be bubbles, shear (straw) marks, and other minor imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time. This pair of individual berry bowls will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
