This listing is for an E. Rousseau alto saxophone mouthpiece. This is the "Jazz Model", which has a higher baffle and smaller chamber for producing a bright tone with plenty of projection to cut through a big band. This one is marked "JDX6" on top, but it has been refaced. The actual tip opening measurement is .095". That is quite wide for alto sax, so you'd want to use a pretty light reed on it to compensate for the large tip opening. I am not sure who did the refacing, but it seems like good quality work, and it plays great! This mouthpiece is in very good physical condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth, and there are no tooth indentations on the beak. The rubber shows mild fading/discoloration, but the logo is perfectly clear.
