Dynavox 45 Phono Cartridge For RP190 Record Changer W/ Twisted Wire

Description: RCA Victor 45 RPM Phono Cartridge Stereo when wired and used with a stereo amplifier Or Mono when wired for a mono amplifier with 2 Hook Up Options and upgraded with new twisted wire. Plays stereo or mono records in mono when used with a mono amplifier. This will minimize the hum, noise, and electromagnetic interference. The theory is you will have a cancellation of opposing magnetic fields in each of the channel wires which will result in minimal amplification by your amplifier. Each wire is 36 awg Silver Plated Copper. I am offering this cartridge with stylus kit for all RCA Record players and others that utilize RP 190 record changers. This cartridge is mounted in a block that is made of aluminum so that it is non magnetic and isn’t affected by, create, or suffer any losses a cartridge holder may have. It rides low in the tonearm to allow the record changer to play up to 15 records depending on the record thickness and condition. Some adjustment of the pick up height (lowering the tonearm) may be required. This kit was made up for replacement of one of the original RCA cartridges shown in the second gallery photo. The cartridge shown at the top of the second gallery photo is the most common, which has round pins. The bottom two cartridges have flat pins. If you don’t have any of the cartridges in this photo, or the ones with flat or smaller round pins, you can still use my kit by using option 1, or 2 listed below. You will receive instructions with this kit, and you will have 2 options for installation. Tonearm not included for illustration only. OPTION 1 1. Remove all of your existing tonearm wiring and install the new wiring preinstalled on the cartridge and included in this kit. This may require some basic soldering or use of other methods to connect the cartridge preinstalled wiring to the input wiring to your amplifier. OPTION 2 1. If your existing cartridge clips are not like the original cartridge shown in the top gallery photo, you can remove the clips on your existing wiring, splice and solder on a section of the new wiring with clips onto your existing wiring. NOTE: Replacement of the cartridge on all RP190 record changers require removal and reinstallation of the Tonearm, and possible readjustment of the tracking force, tripping and landing adjustments.
