This auction is for the new CRUSADER UPGRADE PACK. This is for people who have the first print run of the game from a few years back. An easy way to tell if you have the original version of Dungeon Crusade is to look at the front cover. If it does not have the words 'Crusader of the Realm Edition' in blue or 'Slayer of the Realm Edition' in red, then you have one of the original editions of Dungeon Crusade. Please note: If you own the new 2023 version of the Crusader of the Realm Edition or the Slayer of the Realm Edition of Dungeon Crusade you DO NOT need this Crusader Upgrade pack, you have all of this content in your edition of the game. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS CRUSADER UPGRADE PACK: Within the Crusader Upgrade pack, we have the brand new revised Dungeon Crusade rule book that is getting excellent reviews from fans and YouTubers alike. The revised rulebook is MUCH slimmer than the original one, better & quicker explaining of the rules, better diagrams and quick to the point on learning the game. There's also the new Solo Crusader mode, the Mercenary Camp for the village, and a newly revised combat system that offers quicker gameplay, but no worries, the classic combat is still in there for you, There is also the new scalable difficulty reference card for your level 1 and 2 heroes, quicker setup time, a little quicker play time, and a few other tweaks and balances we made to the game. We listened to our excellent fan base on any issue they had, and we have perfected and honed Dungeon Crusade to give players the best experience possible. The Crusader Upgrade pack contains: + A professionally printed newly revised Crusaders Handbook (rulebook) + A full-color map/poster of the land of Avalon (21 x 18 inches) + A few special ability cards for the heroes. There was a misprint from the manufacturer, so we want to make sure people have the right cards. + The Solo Crusader ruleset (within the revised rulebook.) + A new Tavern Task: The Trouble with Traps + Replacement level 3 minion monster cards (3) Cultist of Zul + The Mercenary Camp mini-board for the Solo Crusader mode. + You also get the Scalable Difficulty Reference card. This is used for your level 1 and level 2 heroes when they come across a challenge or event in the Encounter deck and the trap system, and the trapped treasure chests in the dungeon. This made a HUGE difference in the game and balanced it quite a bit for your level 1 and level 2 heroes. + A replacement quest card for your original game. Dungeon Crusade is a solo/co-operative sandbox dungeon crawl. Inspired by the classic age of board games, role-playing games, and video games, but fitted with new and fresh mechanics. In Dungeon Crusade, your heroes will enter an ancient dungeon located beneath a village to stem the tide of evil beleaguering the poor villagers. Each time your heroes venture into the dungeon, they will have an overarching goal they will need to achieve, but they can also pick up side quests and even some odd jobs from the tavern to modify their adventure further! 6 stalwart Heroes are accompanied by their trusty fetch hound Albus. Each Hero has strengths and weaknesses,' and it is up to you to decide if you will split the party to cover more ground or stick together in case a larger threat presents itself... In the dungeon, your heroes will encounter wandering monsters who move about with unpredictable movement patterns thanks to the exclusive Patrol Route system. But beware! These monsters might turn into raiding monsters and make their way to the village to raid it, thus raising the terror level. Your heroes can also mine for minerals to craft enhancements for their weapons. They can seek out and hunt down rare and legendary artifacts. Send their fetchhound Albus back to the village to get a potion in a pinch. If their quest is successful, then the village celebrates in their honor and throws them a grand feast and presents them party with gifts. This is known as 'Celebration Day'. The heroes can then shop around the village for new gear from the ever-changing marketplace, gamble some gold in the House of Chance, visit a temple, pray for a blessing, and more! Don't get too comfortable because evil never rests, and your heroes will find themselves back in the dungeon facing tougher challenges and monsters, but hopefully better armed!
