Description: Duesenberg Fairytale Lap Steel almost no use, essentially open box. My eyes for this beautiful instrument were way bigger than my time to learn it. Comes with a Long Dawg tone bar, and a couple extra sets of strings. Starting with 6th string comes tuned D, A, D, F#, A, D (open D). My suggestion is to keep it this way as it works well with the 16 to 56 strings and 25.5 inch scale length; big, beautiful sound. Also has a built-in sliding capo which is really slick. Second string palm bar raises it a whole step. Third string palm bar raises it a half… Keep it that way or else you will break the string if you try to go whole step. Tune the guitar up with your tuner, but then you may want to make adjustments by ear as it just sounds better; I.e. The third string sounds better a little bit flat in my opinion. This is the beauty of a steel guitar with no frets and a perfectly intonated open chord. Comes with all the case candy and original box. Buy it, try it. If you don’t like it send it back and feel confident purchasing from a nearly 30 year eBay veteran. Receipt of item will require an adult signature.
