Description: Dudson / Ridgway Blue White Jasperware Neoclassical Figures 6 7/8 Inch Pitcher Nice late 19th century blue and white jasperware type applied sprig decorated pitcher with Neoclassical figures. Has impressed marks on the base, LH Paxton 24 and 26/7/81. Mark is attributed as being used by Dudson between 1870 and the 1880s; however, there is new information suggesting these were actually produced by Ridgway. Has one small in manufacture stacking flake to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition with no post manufacture chips or cracks. Measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide from spout to handle x 6 7/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. DT001734
