Description: You will receive a packet (weight of your choosing) of Dried Moringa Leaves, which were hand picked fresh and naturally air-dried from our beautiful Moringa tree growing in sunny Florida. Home grown all naturally using regenerative methods with zero chemicals or pesticides and a whole lot of love. These are dried whole leaves, without large stems, that have not been crushed or powdered. Leaves vary in size as that’s how they naturally grow. I harvest, air dry, and package the leaves in small batches so you are receiving them as fresh as possible. The Moringa tree is widely known in the tropics and has been consumed as a food and used in Ayurveda practices for centuries. It is one of my favorites to grow and enjoy as most all of the tree is usable, leaves, flowers, seeds pods, seeds and root! It’s also known as the horseradish tree, drumstick tree or benzolive tree. The dried leaves are a beautiful green color with a nice aroma. They can be brewed into a tea, powdered, made into a tincture or added to soups or stews etc. When brewed as a tea, it has a yellowish color and delicate scent and a very pleasant flavor, with light earthy notes and no bitterness. It also pairs well brewed with lemongrass. There are numerous uses and benefits, but please do your own research before using/ consuming. To Brew a Cup of Moringa Leaf TeaBring 2 cups of water to a boil.Remove from heat & add leaves.Add 1-2 tablespoons Moringa Leaves per cup.Steep for 20+mins. Strain & Enjoy!You can also brew larger amounts of tea and store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Add your sweetener of choice, if desired. Pairs well brewed with lemongrass. StorageTo keep your leaves fresh, store them in the re-sealable bag and keep them in cool and dry place such as your pantry or kitchen cabinet.
