They are wearing FORMAL ATTIRE and the dag has some added coloring or tinting on their faces and clothing. The young lady has a GOLD BROOCH pinned on her collar. The young gentleman has a FLIP HAIRSTYLE and THICK SIDEBURNS. Made circa 1850, these two images PoP with excellent contrast and sharp focus. They are in overall excellent, used condition, with some minor spotting, tarnish ring and dirt and dust bits under the glass. The female dag has its original seals, this dag has never been opened since it was made. The male dag apparently was opened in 1998 for cleaning as stated in a paper notation found on the back copper plate. In fancy brass mats and preservers.
