Description: This listing is for one (1) “Don’t use your Petticoat! Original by Loraine Kirk Handkerchief”. This rare, vintage linen handkerchief is pure Mid Century modern whimsy. Made of Irish linen, it has a hemstitched hem with "Don't use your Petticoat!" printed on it. On the bottom of the piece is also printed "Original by Loraine Kirk". From the 1950s/early 60s, it is in very good condition. To the best of my knowledge it has never been used/laundered.In my collection for over fifty years, it has always been stored away and folded as pictured.
