Description: Featured are two C.M. Coolidge prints from the "Dogs Playing Poker" series. The series was first issued in 1906 by the Brown & Bigelow Company. The 11 Cassius Marcellus Coolidge (1844-1934) paintings of dogs sitting around a card table have become part of American pop-culture and are instantly recognizable. In this 1970s or 80s Brown & Bigelow print pack are A Friend in Need and His Station and Four Aces. Both are 8” x 10” in overall size and 6” x 8.25” in image size and are in excellent condition. The prints come in their original sleeve and were most likely used for salesmen to give as gifts to customers. This item will be shipped flat and protected between cardboard. If you purchase more than one item, I am happy to combine shipping and refund shipping overages after purchase. These prints would be easy to frame and would make a great gift. They can’t help but make you smile! Chuck Olson CollectionChuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints. He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960. Chuck amassed a collection of well over 10,000 framed and unframed prints before his death. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the item.
