Enterprise NCC 17011:200 scaleDiecast & plastic componentsMade in the UKReleased in 1976 This vintage Dinky Toys No.358 is the Star Trek USS Enterprise NCC 1701 model from 1976. The die-cast metal and plastic spaceship is white and features the iconic USS Enterprise NCC-1701 from the Star Trek series. Condition is good for its age, though the plastic has yellowed some. Unfortunately, the Starship is missing the two orange plastic tips of its nacelles. It is also missing the landing craft that comes out of the bay. These things are easy to replace on eBay. The Enterprise does not come with photon torpedoes. The mechanism for shooting them is intact, but it appears that the spring or another part has popped out; there is a visible length of metal coming out of the shooting bay. You can spin the launching mechanism and feel the clicking, but I’m not quite sure what is wrong with it inside. The toy is easy to screw apart with a Phillips head screwdriver. This model is excellent for the parts it comes with or as a base for a restoration. Please note that the other two Dinky items shown in the background of the photos are not part of this lot. They are not included with the Starship Enterprise, although they both will be available. Please see the photographs for a complete description of the condition of the item and the item itself.
