Please note that this yearbook has slightly textured paper and thus the scans appear to be somewhat mottled. However the photos in the yearbook are crystal clear. Dewey was a champ at many things (3 times National yo-yo champ at 14, California wrestling champ and of course a great surfer and businessman.) He is pictured at least 7 times, including nice clear shot as a member of the "B" Football team (all 5 foot 3, 130 pounds of him!), the wrestling team and several other photos including the Ski Club, Lettermens Club and the Father/ Son Banquet. Henry Ford and Fred Pfahler each have their individually-posed Junior head photos and may appear in other shots. These were the South Bay Surfers, and this is the ONLY yearbook in which all three of them appear with posed individual photos. Think of Big Surf, Slippery When Wet (Bruce Brown), Weber Performer, Weber Pig etc. The condition of this book is Near Mint, like the book had been in a time capsule... with the mildest age toning of the pages. The cover is awesome and perfect. There is NO writing inside this book (not even a name!) This is the best of the best! Again, the scans do not do justice to the photos or the quality of the pages due to the pages having a slight texture to them, which the scanner cannot seem to handle very well. .
