Description: FUZZ WORKS 7Based on ZVEX EFFECTS Fuzz Factory 7OVERVIEW:The Fuzz Works 7 features a 9-position rotary subswitch that opens the pedal up to an astoundingnew bottom end as well as thin,reedy fuzzes.The fuzz works equally well with both guitar andbass signals.There’s also a second stomp switch and anassociated tone control.This passive tone controloperates much the way the one on your guitar doesand when the stomp switch is activated it will letyou roll off the high end of the fuzz sound so youcan mellow out the tone if you like.The controls of the Fuzz Works 7 are arranged ina circle around a Lexan window that reveals tworare germanium transistors, individuallyhand-tested for the perfect gain range and lowleakage. These rare and magnificent-soundingtransistors are illuminated by LEDs when the pedalis engaged.CONTROLS:KNOBS: Although the six main control knobs arenamed for the parameters over which they seem tohave the most control.They are controls for variousoperating levels and biases, and basically shapeyou a personalized fuzz.COMP:Adds attack characteristic when turned toleft, which gets softer to right, and suddenlypinches tone when all the way right.Also use totune in fat feedbacky fuzz, if you’re that kind.Lower the Stability and see what happens to thiscontrol.DRIVE:Increases distortion when used as a“normal” fuzz, and adjusts feedback pitch andtonal thickness, if you’re that kind. This controlbecomes meaningless when Compress is all theway right.STAB: Use all the way right. Do not attempt to adjustthis control below 2:00, unless you like your fuzzsoft and squishy. Use to con-trol feedback pitch.FAT： a nine-positionrotary switch that controls the internal tone of thefuzz, getting fatter and subbier to the left and thinnerand reedier to the right. This switch will obviouslychange the oscillation range of the pedal as well,when the other knobs are set to an oscillating orsquealing tone.TONE: This knob is activated by the left stompswitch.
