One is from Senator Daniel B. Brewster to Deputy Chief Roland F. Wett, of the Baltimore Fire Department, dated October 30th 1964 (pre 1964 Presidential Election). The second is from President Lyndon Baines Johnson to Wett dated december 14, 1964, a month after LBJ won the election against Barrry Goldwater. Both letters thank Wett for his dedication to the democratic ticket. Both letters are in excellent condition and features actual signatures of LBJ and Brewster. Signatures have been checked against many authentic online examples and I believe they are absolutly authentic. We know who LBJ was. Brewster was the Democratic senator from Maryland 1963 to 1969. He was in the House 1959 to 1963, and Maryland House Of Delagates 1950-1959. He fought as a Marine in the Pacific Theater WWII battles of Okinawa and Guam earning a Bronze Star and multiple Purple Hearts. Among Brewster's interns were Nancy D'Alesandro (Pelosi) and Steny Hoyer. Brewster was instrumental in the passing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. • This is the exact item you will receive • Please examine my super-high-resolution 600 DPI scans • Money back guarantee, you can order with confidence • If I can answer any questions you have or help you in any way, please contact me through Ebay About Your Shipping • Items will be shipped, unmounted, in a glassine envelope or appropriate weather resistant container • Your order will be professionally packaged and will have a USPS tracking number • Your order will be shipped 'same day you pay' or the following day depending on time of day and USPS service Why Buy From Dealer Dave • I am a stamp collector for over 60 years, so I will always be honest and send you what you expect to receive • I offer fair pricing and good deals • American Philatelic Society member, APS# 213494, my feedback speaks for itself View My Feedback • Ebay member since 2006, thousands of satisfied customers Visit my store and see all the great collectibles, All KINDS of stuff, just click this link...
