It is a one owner instrument from the 1950s and 60s. It was played in many areas in northeastern Ohio and in Florida. Some venues were churches, radio, and television. The owner also played this instrument in a dance band called "The Star Dusters." This instrument is being sold by its original owner. Some accessories that come with this marimba are a large homemade wooden music stand and several sets of mallets.
