The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and eight tie down points. This cover is installed with the mast up and has four cutouts: one for the mast, two for the shrouds and one for the forestay. All four cutouts have snap closures and a large #10 YKK zipper is used between the mast base cutout and the starboard shroud cutout for ease of use and durability. The zipper is also covered with a flap of fabric and snaps to increase UV resistance. If you have a Daysailer I or II by O'day - this sailboat cover is compatible with our DaySailer hull cover if you want to completely enclose your boat! Made from 600 denier, solution-dyed polyester fabric, this boat cover is waterproof, resists mildew, UV damage and chafe. (The fabric has a 3-year warranty!)
