Description: Very rare and hard to find piece by Bennington potters located in Vermont. Made by Davis Gil. It’s signed/ impressed on the back. From 1999. Pretty sure it’s meant for baking. It’s unglazed so it should be good to that. Made out of terracotta. Definitely for decoration 11.5”x11”x1.75” tall. In good condition. No cracks or chips. There’s two very tiny superficial indentations on the lower rim on the back. Not sure if they’re chips or that’s how it was made. Please zoom in. There’s some small areas throughout that have some tiny whiter looking areas or aren’t 100% uniform. Some other minor discolorations. This was handmande so that’s normal I think. Closeups in photos after measurements. Some of the closeups look a little more washed out than the rest because they’re closeups but the actual color is like the majority orange Terra cotta color. 1-2 days handling, 2-5 shipping.
