HOWEVER, IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT SOME COLLECTORS ARE WANTING THEM STILL SEALED, IF THIS IS POSSIBLE, AND PREFER TO DO THE REPAIRS THEMSELVES. SINCE THESE ARE NEW UNSEALED TAPES, THERE IS NO WAY TO CONFIRM THE PAD TYPE OR CONDITION OF THE SENSOR FOIL. THE TABLE BELOW IS BASED ON OUR KNOWLEDGE OF TAPE TYPES AND WHAT THEY ARE LIKELY TO BE. SINCE MANY OF THESE TAPES CAN BE 30 YEARS OLD OR MORE, ALTHOUGH SEALED, THEY ARE SOLD "AS IS". BY PURCHASING THEM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE PADS AND FOIL ARE 99.99% LIKELY TO NEED REPLACEMENT BEFORE USE.
