It was created by Teacher Created Materials, Inc. in 1935 and is geared towards intermediate-level students between the ages of 7 - 12. The guide includes 48 reproducible pages that cover various aspects of the book, such as English and literary studies. It is a great way to help students prepare for tests or to enhance their understanding of the story. In addition to reading guidance and vocabulary, this study guide offers many activities such as creating a volcano, mapping skills, mask making, etc. All of the pages are reproducible for your own use. Choose to use all of the pages and/or activities or just what you need. My daughter's loved the TCM study guides, as they were a little "lighter" than some of the Progeny Press guides - so we varied our use of each to strike a balance. .
