Restored with new binding, all pages are present but there are a portion which are torn away, many have patches on them to prevent further tearing. Completely new cloth spine with floral pattern and new endribbons. This book has many foldouts of the human body, all still have color. Very few markings in the book, if any, and almost all damage is due to the condition in which it was held before its rebinding. This is where some pages were chewed, torn, crumpled, taken out, etc. Thus most of the damage is confined to the outer 20 pages or so pages, including the table of contents which has most of its contents preserved. Make no mistake, while this book has damage to it, clear signs of restoration and patch work which occasionally obscures text, more than 90% of the book (or ≈1700 pages) is still in remarkable condition. Unmarked but yellowing pages give this volume a distinct antique feel while sporting an immense amount of pages., a great find for any collector or bibliophile interested in anatomy.
