Description: DAS Dynamite MarbleCollector SeriesTangerine Lutz FloaterMINTRun Date: 7/7/20 I usually create auctions for the older JABO marble runs that have more vintage appeal. However, once in a while a really special newer marble from DAS comes along and I think it is worth it to share the unique or novel marble with others. This is exactly one of those cases. This Dynamite marble has a very bright tangerine orange glass pigment used for the mostly monochromatic sphere. There is also some wispy white glass used on the internal area that gives the impression that little miniature cloud formations are floating freely inside this little gem. It provides a light and airy feeling and allows the viewer to get lost inside the windows. The really big deal with regards to this marble is the sheer volume of gold lutz dusting that has been applied in 360 degrees during the production run. As the molten stream of glass falls out of the kiln, one glass technician will stand there and blow gold lutz onto the stream. The result is a fantastic explosion of golden sparkles that pop forever. Another one for the keeper chest. I try my best to take high resolution pictures with flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with built-in flash in order to show as much detail and beauty as possible. Lower light conditions can easily hide small flaws and I want these little gems to be seen as clearly as possible. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.719" in diameter measured with electronic calipers. Note: I am experimenting with a new light source and that is the reason for the large rectangular reflection in the marble (not any flaw of the marble). My apologies for the inconvenience.
