Description: Custom Crafted Alsten Co. Large Cameo Brooch Pin Gold Leaves Black Backing w/Box. My aunt collected these cameo pins and brooches and old vintage compacts. She gave me this one years ago and it's just been sitting in my closet. It is in the original box - with Alsten Co Jersey City, NJ stamped on the bottom of the box. Custom Crafted is lettered on the inside of the box. The pin/brooch sits on a black velvet insert. It is adorned with faux gold leaves which hold the black plastic-like stone and the frosted white also seemingly plastic center cameo. The clasp that holds the brooch pin closed doesn't seem to hold the pin. This also has a hook to be worn as a necklace, too.
