The DDM888 is a 1RU Dante enabled stereo monitor unit with two high/midrange speakers and a single bass driver for quality monitoring. The unit can access sixteen stereo network inputs, eight stereo analog inputs, eight balanced AES inputs and eight stereo SDI audio channels. There is also a programmable preset button for monitoring frequently used combinations. The unit includes a stereo meter which may be selected to analogue PPM style metering with phase indication or bargraph. There is an SDI output as well as a stereo analog output for external monitoring or metering. The network connections include a selectable redundant or switch secondary. All inputs include level controls for normalizing the input levels if required. Additionally, inputs may be individually delayed by up to eight frames. The DDM888 includes a webserver GUI for easy setup and selection. Power may be PoE or Mains. The DDM888 may be powered by: Power over Ethernet (PoE) on either or both copper primary and secondary ethernet jacks. The unit has a class 4 signature. Mains: 110-240 VAC 50/60Hz. The DDM888 has a built-in network switch. The red LED will illuminate to indicate 1 Gigabyte network operation. When a headphone jack is inserted, the internal speakers will be cut. The unit includes an auto-sensing feature for the headphones so will operate well with a wide range of headphone impedances.
