This Speed controller does not effect the top speed or make it any faster this works like a light dimmer in your house.. Comes with a aluminum knob not a cheap plastic one like our competitors. .Also our competitors box has NO mounting tabs or anyway to mount it so it just flops around inside your cooler and the one they use takes 13 full turns before reading proper which means they are using the wrong potentiometer..Ours quickly rotates only 1 full turn to set any speed! Here you have a way to control your coolers power for little money...Simply drill a hole in the switch plate and mount our speed controller/potentiometer and with just a turn of a knob you can let your kids or friends drive your cooler with no more worries..Goes from full speed to barely moving and everything in between! If you want it in a nice box with mounting tabs check out our other auction but then its mounted inside the cooler but at least its mounted where as the others available just flop around inside.. This mounts really simple to install and once mounted you can control the top speed of you cooler.keeping others safe...It simply connects to your green wire on your throttle 2 ways...1)simply cut your green wire going to your throttle and tie each end of the reducer to the wires on the speed control reducer..2) 50&52 series only-remove the green wire from your 6 pin connector and slide it into the female end of the reducer,heat shrink it and slide the male end of the reducer back into the 6 pin connector .
