Description: Crib Mound Hornstone Cache Blade - (1) Blade This auction is for one (1) crib mound hornstone cache blade found in Spencer County Indiana along the Ohio River in 1965 by Art, Gerber, Chuck Denzinger, and Buddy Scheidigger. The site is talked about in Art Gerber’s book “The Art Gerber Story”. Approximately 10,000 cache blades were found at the crib mound site. The blade has its original untouched patina with heavy deposits. The blade is pictured third from left in center. Size: 4 ¾” x 3 ½”. You will receive the original Tom Davis COA signed and dated 7/5/99. The other blades have been sold with just copies of the COA. I purchased these blades directly off Tom Davis and had the COA’s done for the blades in groups. Shipping on the crib mound blade is $10.00.
