Description: Showing a 4Q 19th Century covered bowl / jar - Hand painted enamel with small daisy decorMelon form both pieces 8 lobbed - cover with 7 daisies, base with a lot of them - outer with cream tones, daisies in white, leaves in shades of faint golden brown - both rims are gilt decorated - inside is shiny whiteCondition observed: COVER with short rim flake on the flat part at 12 o'clock [not affecting the outside or the inside] inside with short stress mark around 3 o'clock can't see it but can feel it with finger BASE inside near middle has a pimple bump and a short stress mark next to it - none of the imperfections affect the outside - there are no restorationsOverall measure about 3 1/2" x 5" We do not disturb our antique pieces - this was passed on from several generations and withstood well over 100 years and still presents well!Check out our other listings please, you may find something to your liking!
