Description: an original, antique, hand-coloured strip road map showing part of the road from London to Falmouth. Drawn on a scale of 1 inch to 1 mile, it includes details of Seats of the nobility and gentry, as well as notable topographical features and settlements along the route. The road passes through numerous places including: Liskeard, Lostwithiel ('Lestwithiel'), Lanlivery ('Lantivery'). This is a relatively rare antique road map as it was not published in numerous editions such as those by some of Mogg's contemporaries. Ideally suited for framing and display, if desired.
