Description: Competitor bag tag with the original chain from The 1965 Open Championship held at Royal Birkdale where Peter Thomson won his 5th Claret Jug. This bag tag was for Clive A. Clark, an Amateur who had recently played on the 1965 Walker Cup team where he never lost a match and sank a 30 foot+ putt on the last hole to give Great Britain a tie. Very nice used condition. Clark later spent 18 years as a golf broadcaster for the BBC and was also a golf course architect. This plastic bag tag is approx. 2 11/16" in diameter.
