COLD WAR US Navy SUBMARINER Utility Jacket Coat USS QUEENFISH Pintado SIMA Adams

Here is an amazing Cold War era US Navy utility jacket with C6 chevron rank patch on one arm and the assignment patches on the other arm. This was issued to a sailor who was on 3 ships as well as SIMA (SHORE INTERMEDIATE MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY) in Charleston, S.C. The Charles F. Adams was a destroyer and the other 2 are submarines. They are all from the 1970s and 1980s. Reading up on the ships is interesting. The PINTADO collided with a Soviet sub in the Pacific Ocean near Japan/Russia. There is a name on the tag, but I did not do any research. The size is 40R or Medium. I have rough measurements in the pics. It's in great condition with the only damage I saw being on the right arm. It looks like there are 2 burn spots, but it did not penetrate the outer shell. The inner fleece/flannel layer is good. All the zippers work.
