Cognitive psychology is so much more than the rigorous experimental research that dominates most textbooks in the field. While it is important to facilitate an appreciation for experimental design and behavioral testing methodologies, I feel it is equally important to highlight the application of research in cognitive psychology to our everyday, real-world problems." -- Dunja L. Trunk"I feel that Dr. Galotti did a very good job on providing real-life examples and making them accessible to the readers." -- Xiaowei Zhao"Galottis Chapter Summaries are very strong; the important, big-picture concepts and themes presented in the chapter are condensed down to approximately one page. For a student, this makes for a very useful tool, assuming they have in fact read the chapter in the first place." -- James Scepansky"Galottis textbook provides comprehensive coverage of cognitive psychology…The text would give a wonderful foundation for advanced students who plan to attend graduate programs in cognitive psychology/cognitive science." -- Hildur Halliday Schilling Review Quote "Galotti has gathered the most important topics in modern cognitive psychology and approaches them with a conversational writing style--supplemented with examples and figures--bringing abstract concepts to life."
