From an estate, but may have been purchased in the Georgian Bay area where Claire has property.....The iconic CM is stitched into one corner in a squash.Has two identifiers- one a hand written number and the other a tag affixed to the back.In clean but used condition with no major stains evident on the face and only a small stain area on the underside.Two corner triangle tucks have been sewn into the back...possibly used for a hanging display - which would be an awesome way to display this beauty.The only flaw we can see and it's something you have to look for....is a row of missing loop work on the extreme edge and appears to have been in-colored with black to keep the light cream border from jumping out at you. It;s about 2 or so inches long and 1/4 inch wide. A Close up image of this area is included.Area rug contains images of gourds/squash, tomatoes (border), cabbages, beets, carrots, asparagus, radishes, eggplants, cauliflowers, broccoli, artichokes and peppers (whew!) all done with the expected Claire Murray flair.We strive for accuracy in our descriptions and will disclose any flaws or issues that we find.
