Description: Civil War Era Union Army Model 1855 Percussion Revolver Leather Cartridge Box - Original - NICE Condition - RARE Up for sale is a Civil War Era Union Army 1855 Percussion Revolver Leather Cartridge Box. This is an Original Leather Cartridge Box. The leather is pliable and supple. There are wrinkling and some surface cracks on the front flap of the box. Some crazing of the leather along the fold of the flap. It has no visible marker markings or dates. The retention strap is still intact and has surface cracks and crazing of the leather. The belt loops are still present. Some spots of surface cracking in the leather on the rear. This is a NICE Original Condition Box, considering its 160 year age. This box was used to store the paper cartridges for the Percussion Revolvers used during the Civil War. The box is used, please see photos for detail and condition. Check out my other items!
