Chord Electronics Hugo 2 Black DAC w/internal Headphone Amp and ALL accessories

Description: This Hugo 2 is in great aesthetic condition (as photographed), flawless electrical condition (with good battery life - and never connected to valve kit, which can risk damage), and comes with ALL of the accessories it had when bought new by me, including the original PSU and a remote that has never been removed from the sealed plastic bag (because I already had a Hugo 2 remote). The price is lower than it might be because the "filter" button works ok, but since new the microswitch felt like it might give out from repeated use (e.g. if filter setting is switched often when used as a "transportable" - which I never did so it has no pocket lint!)The volume "sphere" is also just a little less free to rotate than my other Hugo 2 - which is a very minor misalignment at the factory. These defects are minor enough, and when used a desktop unit they had zero impact on IR remote-controlled use (as I have always done), that I didn't bother to make use of the Chord warranty - but these folks have been great when I damaged my M Scaler (my fault) and their repair prices have been very reasonable indeed!These two defects are very cheap / easy to have fixed, so you could have a Hugo 2 that is a lot like new for very little extra spend. To confirm, these two minor issues have existed since new. I have never opened this unit - otherwise I'd have fixed the "sphere". I've opened and modified my other Hugo 2 - how I know this is easy to fix - but this is untouched, to be certain of vendor support. Service request could be: "please replace the microswitch for the 'filter' button, and re-align the volume 'sphere' during re-assembly" ...and optionally "and please replace the LiFePo4 batteries with new while you're at it". (these are in good condition, but not new) Returns accepted within 30 days for your peace of mind, and thanks for looking!
