Her parents were strict Pentecostal faith believers and church was a very dominate part of her upbringing. Bonnie married and considers her most gratifying accomplishment in life is the birth of her four children, Kimyunna, Tuwanna, Gary Jr. and last but not least Emanuel. She earned a BA degree, while working a full time job. Writing was her passion and upon retirement she set out to publish her first novel, Chased by God.
