Description: Titled - Suspension Bridge, Charles City, Iowa. This is a nice Dick Young Photography and Floyd County Historical Society branded, circa 1990s, unmailed POST CARD of the iconic "Swinging Bridge" at night - all lit up, crossing the Cedar River, was bouncy and waved going across, but much loved because of that. 100 years old when lost, replaced with steel and concrete. Excellent UN-used shape. Little corner rounding and edge wear, no major faults. Card shape descriptions are done to the Post Card trade standards: Mint is hard to find; Near Mint has very little if any wear; Excellent allows some wear and minor soiling; Very Good is better than average; Good is basically average; Fair is to allow more wear than normal; Poor is obvious. We try to call out any tears, minor wrinkles are on most any card. Creased means has been folded or badly bent. Cut down cards are hardly ever sold by us, if so will be told as such. Repros - destroyed, unless historic value - life is just to short for cheats! Most old cards are about 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. NOTE: Colored border is to highlight cards & is NOT part of card!
