Description: This is a popular species of cycad in cultivation, originally found in San Luis Potosi and Querétaro in Eastern Mexico. This species is unfortunately virtually extinct in the wild due to over collection. It does propagate easily and grow quickly though. Perfect for an indoors setting, or sheltered outdoor setting in subtropical or tropical regions. Mature plant is pictured growing outside in USDA Zone 10. Takes about 5 years to mature and produce a cone. ** Greenhouse grown in the USA, pictures are representative only, growers choice. Seedlings may have some slight imperfections but will be healthy and ready to thrive. Refunds or exchanges are only accepted with proof of dead-on arrival. Please contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns at all! Happy to assist. ***All Shipping is USPS Priority 2 day shipping. Heat Packs will be provided for free if needed. Cycads are shipped bare root in moss. Pot immediately on delivery in soil dependent upon species, typically ~50% perlite if growing in containers. **** I do have bigger plants available that are outside of seedling size. Reach out for more info! Whole sale also available!
