It has a larger length for the head joint which gives some stability to the wind way, and lets the lower body side right into the mouthpiece instead of a separate tuning slide. It has the classic aluminum low whistle sound. I have had this model tested by many fantastic Irish musicians and they have all loved this model. It has a green metallic section on the inside of the mouthpiece and a beautiful Celtic knot logo. This set with four bodies in a custom case is very beautiful, and the whistles play extremely well. It’s really nice to have multiple keys to be able to play along with other musicians and singers. I also have a video of the legendary Larry Nugent playing the F from this set on YouTube in case you’d like to hear someone playing it, and I can make sound clips on request. This whistle has been individually hand tuned to concert pitch A440 at 68•F I have been making whistles since 1998 and have been perfecting my designs over the years as I have made and sold over 15,000 instruments.
