Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Price list from the B. Pasquale Co. of San Francisco, Revised Feb. 1916, of the various award ribbons and related ephemera they produced for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Pasquale was a famous "fraternal goods" maker for many years in The City. 113mm by 233mm, 8 pages with cover, folded over and string bound. In a word RARE, as almost all would have been thrown away after they served their purpose - I have not seen another one of these in the last 10+ years and few if any in the 30+ years I have collected California Worlds Fair material. I picked this up many, many years ago, possibly out of an archive of remainders that someone found, and it has been in my personal PPIE reference collection. Important as a companion to the two PPIE Award Ribbons I have listed separately. Even more so for the information on the last page, which lists Pasquale's service in plating the large format Flanagan PPIE award medals. All these were issued struck in Bronze, and awardees were responsible for plating medals Silver or Gold to match their award level, if they chose. It also lists a 4 Inch Russia leather case to hold award medals, which I have never seen an example of. The interior of these would be similar to the aluminum cases used for medals from the 1893 Columbian Expo, in that both sides can be seen. (If a medal was found in this type case my opinion is that it would be of the highest rarity.) Very important as a research aid for any serious PPIE collector/dealer. I am happy to combine shipping and hope that someone steps up and purchases all three lots, to keep them together (listed with a Make an Offer which is more likely to be considered for a combined sale). Shipped flat in rigid holder for safe delivery. 0824-98 Please Note: We require payment within four days of purchase, unless you contact us for other arrangements in advance of purchase. Buy or Bid with confidence: we have a heritage to 1937, and loads of good eBay Feedback, where I have been selling since 1997. Good Luck & Good Hunting! Tipsico Coin, Mon.- Fri. 10 AM - 4 PM MST.
