Description: Here we have an antique / primitive cast iron portable hitching post / tiedown weight for a horse carriage or buggy...it weighs 15 pounds (slightly more with the strap, see photo) and is marked "COVERT 15"...it is in very good used condition with only the slightest amount of rust on the bottom...the 1 1/8" wide leather tether strap is still strong although it is worn & cracked...weight measures approx. 3" high x 5 1/2" wide...
