Description: 3D printed Cartridge Component Comparator Fixture for quick and accurate sorting by primer pocket depth, bullet base to ogive, case length, neck wall thickness, shoulder bump, bullet seating depth. Easier, faster, and more repeatable than calipers. Additional equipment is required to use this tool. Most required components are things a reloader has or should have. I suggest mounting it at 45 degrees if you stand at the bench and steeper if you sit. The indicator is not included. This is made for a 1" dial indicator with a 3/8" stem. Harbor Freight or better If you want a holder for an indicator with an 8mm stem, message me. Inexpensive analog dial indicators are my preference, because they have stronger plunger springs and are easier to set up. The Trimmer Pilots are not included. They are not necessary to check the case length, but just make it easier to get the mouth centered on the anvil. The Sinclair Neck Turning Mandrel is not include. The Lee Priming Tool Shell Holder is not included. A Lee Priming Tool Shell Holder for your cartridge is required to measure Case Length, Length to Ogive, Primer Pocket and Shoulder Bump. The Hornady Cartridge Headspace Gauge Bushing is not included. A Hornady Cartridge Headspace Gauge Bushing or Sinclair Bump Gage Insert for your case is required to measure Shoulder Bump. The Hornady Bushing lands on the case shoulder at a set diameter and the Sinclair Gage matches the angle of the shoulder. The Hornady Bullet Comparator Bushing is not included. A Hornady Bullet Comparator Bushing or Sinclair Bullet Comparator Insert for your bullet is required to measure Bullet Base to Ogive and Case Head to Ogive. Hornady Bullet Comparator Bushings are aluminum with a straight hole through it and the Sinclair Bullet Comparator Inserts are stainless steel and machined with a tapered hole.
