Carafe Decanter American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Crystal Seneca 581 cutting

Description: This is a Cut crystal Beverage Carafe in a rare shape. It is from the American brilliant period, approximately (1870 to 1915). I guarantee authenticity of my ABP cut glass, I do not mislabel other types of glass as ABPCG like other sellers do. Long time collector & researcher here. This measures: Carafe is 8-3/4" tall by 6" wide (top rim is 2-1/2" wide.) Pattern is called "cut 581" and it is a pattern cut by Seneca of West Virginia. This geometric pattern has hobstars & other motifs of cr0sshatching and fans. The rare shape, company & pattern all make this piece special, ultra rare and a good one for any collection. All pieces from Seneca are actually hard to find from the brilliant era.References: The pattern can be found in the one Seneca catalog printed by the West Virginia museum. And the shape bottle is seen call "no. 60 bottle". see pages 27. 47. 30This is in good condition for its age of over 120 years old.. The carafe is pretty clear and clean inside, no chips around the rim, no unsightly damages.
