Description: For sale is a pair of original "Andromeda" Campfire Audio balanced armature in-ear monitors (IEMs). These retailed for over $1,000 in 2017. The current version is $1,300. They sound amazing, and would make a great gift for the audiophile in your life, or to satisfy your own curiosity. Their two drawbacks are the high retail price - avoided when you buy them used! - and their high sensitivity, which makes them have a permanent hiss when driven by some sources. (My Android phone playing through a USB-C DAC does not make them hiss; my laptop's headphone jack does.) The *included free* iFi attenuator eliminates the hiss - a $50 value! The silicone ear tips I used with them have been thoroughly cleaned & sanitized, and will be included unless you message me & say to not send them. Just so that they are ready for use on arrival. Although the choice of tips - silicone vs foam, and what size - is individual enough that the user will probably want to source their own regardless.
