Description: You are considering a promotional set of fundraising / promotional documents and serigraphs for the creation of the California Institute of the Arts, also known as CalArts. This was a boxed set of 12" x 12" folded sheets that was apparently sent to potential donors. The set includes: A cover letter addressed to a married couple and signed by president Robert W. Corrigan; a small note which reads, "Original Serigraphs by Christian Hedberg I.H.M. and David Meckelburg;" eight 24" x 12" sheets (folded to 12" x 12") which describe the different departments of the school, each covered with an original serigraph; two sheets describing the administration and the campus. The box is gone, but the owner cut off and kept the decorative box top, which looks to be in nice condition. All of the contents look to be in very nice condition. There don't appear to be any rips, tears, or discoloration. Please see photos for details. This item is being sold for a Friends of the Library group. In order to maximize the proceeds the Friends receive from the sale of this item, I ask that the buyer pay shipping.
