Wallace and published by Harper & Brothers in a small, thick octavo measuring 4.5" x 6.75" containing vii, [9]-560 pp. followed by 14 pp. of publisher's ads which, based on the titles listed would suggest that this edition was printed in 1893. It is bound in royal blue cloth, which is the typical binding in the early (but not First) editions and titled and decorated in gilt on the front cover and spine. The plain dust jacket is very fragile, having been printed on pulp paper, and is titled in black on the spine. I have carefully placed it in an archival sleeve.
